Hello dear friends!
Here we are in the month of February already! How fast the time flies! (I think I say that just about every month!) This semester: Spring 2008 is going to be our largest yet and we start tomorrow with our Orientation. Monday we will officially begin with instruction and the normal way of things around here. As a staff we are blessed this time around having so many staff and everyone really being so helpful. It isn't nearly as stressful as it could have been preparing the last couple of days. So far, so good! So please continue your encouraging prayers for us as staff and for the students as well. One exciting thing that happened today was that it snowed! I woke up this morning to snow outside my window and it was lovely! And so for now things are going really great. God is so good to His beloved children! And on another note, whether by a close personal situation or just a reflection of things happening in the world; the Lord has been really impressing upon my heart the urgency for people to not waste any more precious time apart from truly knowing the One who died for them, Jesus Christ. And if by chance there is someone out there who might come across this little blog and read this entry, I hope you know of the immense and unconditional love Jesus has for you and that He is the propitiation for your sin; once and for all. His blood is the only way to be cleansed from all your sin. The time is now! Let me encourage you through something I read:
"Without the shedding of blood is no remission."—Hebrews 9:22.
HIS is the voice of unalterable truth. In none of the Jewish ceremonies were sins, even typically, removed without blood-shedding. In no case, by no means can sin be pardoned without atonement. It is clear, then, that there is no hope for me out of Christ; for there is no other blood-shedding which is worth a thought as an atonement for sin. Am I, then, believing in Him? Is the blood of His atonement truly applied to my soul? All men are on a level as to their need of Him. If we be never so moral, generous, amiable, or patriotic, the rule will not be altered to make an exception for us. Sin will yield to nothing less potent than the blood of Him whom God hath set forth as a propitiation. What a blessing that there is the one way of pardon! Why should we seek another?
Persons of merely formal religion cannot understand how we can rejoice that all our sins are forgiven us for Christ's sake. Their works, and prayers, and ceremonies, give them very poor comfort; and well may they be uneasy, for they are neglecting the one great salvation, and endeavouring to get remission without blood. My soul, sit down, and behold the justice of God as bound to punish sin; see that punishment all executed upon thy Lord Jesus, and fall down in humble joy, and kiss the dear feet of Him whose blood has made atonement for thee. It is in vain when conscience is aroused to fly to feelings and evidences for comfort: this is a habit which we learned in the Egypt of our legal bondage. The only restorative for a guilty conscience is a sight of Jesus suffering on the cross. "The blood is the life thereof," says the Levitical law, and let us rest assured that it is the life of faith and joy and every other holy grace. -C.H. Spurgeon
"Oh! how sweet to view the flowing
Of my Saviour's precious blood;
With divine assurance knowing
He has made my peace with God."

THE SEVEN FOLD BLOOD FLOWING...
1. the blood from His head....cleanses us from our thoughts
2. the blood from His face...cleanses us from things we don't want to face up too
3. the blood from His back...cleanses from times when we've turned our backs on Him
4. the blood from His hands...cleanses us from things we've handled
5. the blood from His side...cleanses us from things inside
6. the blood from His feet...cleanses us from places we've gone
7. the blood from His eyes...cleanses us from things we've see
the 7 fold flowing of the blood of CHRIST cleanses me in every area from all sin and i'm free and forgiven...what can wash away my sins??...nothing but the blood of JESUS...7 times-perfection...7 places-that's what CHRIST's blood did for me and for YOU!!
