Outreach Week Update!

Dearest Friends!
As most of you know but for those that don't, this past week was our schools Outreach Week. There were 10 teams and they each went to different places to share the Gospel, serve and minister to the saints in those places. Some outreach teams stayed in Germany while others left the country for new ones! I was blessed to be a part of a small team that went up to Stockholm, Sweden. I have been blessed to have been to Sweden 3 times prior to this outreach and this 4th time was just as pleasant! We went up to visit some dear friends Mike and Sofia Ortiz and Joel Wickstrom. My team was led by Inga-lill Guzik and was just myself and Annie, who also serves on staff here. We were asked to come up and help serve by leading worship, cooking and cleaning up and just basically being available to serve at this small Women's Conference they had up there. Sofia organised a weekend conference for the ladies up there who are associated with there Calvary Bible Study. This was there first official Ladies conference and there was and sweet group of ladies, about 13 of us in all! We had a lovely time in the Word being taught and exhorted by Inga-lill and I was blessed to help Annie in leading worship. It was perfectly planned by the Lord that Annie and I could be there to help our girl Sofia with the serving! There was alot to do and the Lord worked everything out just fine. Another huge blessing was that Annie and I got to just spend time relaxing and hanging out with Inga-lill and Sofia in the city of Stockholm. Its a beautiful city, full of cultures, foods, shops, sights, people!! I loved it! I will always like going there for a visit! The best part though was being able to make some new friends! Annie and I met these three young Swedish girls who are involved with the group and they were absolutely fantastic! We learned alot from them in just the short time we got to hang out and were able to have many great conversations with them about the Lord! And we had fun times, laughing and joking like we knew each-other for a long while! Fellowship is such a sweet thing! Like a balsam to the soul! I am so grateful the Lord allowed me to be able to go up there and serve with Inga-lill, Annie, Sofia and the rest. Thank you to you all who were praying for us, we felt your prayers! When you think of Sweden, pray for Mike and Sofia and Joel as they serve the Lord so faithfully there in Sweden, and also for the 13 ladies who were on the retreat to really allow what they heard from the Lord change there lives. If you would like to see some pictures you can click on Annies blog! I will try to get the link for it for those of you who don't know her!

OK..Im going to bed now! Love to you all!
A big hug!
Love Mai.

Never too late!

Well my dear friends! Aprile is almost finished and I haven't posted hardly a thing! But don't worry because I really feel like I have turned a corner now; and I am hoping to endeavor with diligence to kill this bad habit I have of procrastination! It eats me alive! So I have really been praying and asking the Lord to change this in me. You can pray for me too!! Oh but to tell you of God's goodness I just have to say that this past week I was able to go with Inga-lill and Annie to Stockholm, Sweden where we helped serve at a small women's conference! I was so blessed to see dear friends who we stayed with and was so loved on by their hospitality and there kindness! So even when you are having one of those months where you feel the intense heat of the flame and you know that God is refining you; let yourself take this encouragement. That your leaf shall be green in time of a drought. Hallelujah!!

Jesus you are so precious to us and we are thankful to be considered upon like we are! Many blessings to you and all my love and prayers!! See some of you soon!
Ciao Ciao con affteto!

Nothing Sweeter!

Than the beautiful and precious name of Jesus Christ. My heart is satisfied when I shall awake in His likeness. Do you know the hymn: Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus ?

" How I love to trust in Jesus
Just to trust His cleansing blood
Just in simply faith to plunge me
'Neath the healing, cleansing flood

I'm so glad I learned to trust Him,
precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that He is with me,
He'll be with me to the end. "

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus what a beautiful name. Sweeter than honey to my lips!
Ciao Ciao!

e così.

Hello dear friends!
Here we are in the month of February already! How fast the time flies! (I think I say that just about every month!) This semester: Spring 2008 is going to be our largest yet and we start tomorrow with our Orientation. Monday we will officially begin with instruction and the normal way of things around here. As a staff we are blessed this time around having so many staff and everyone really being so helpful. It isn't nearly as stressful as it could have been preparing the last couple of days. So far, so good! So please continue your encouraging prayers for us as staff and for the students as well. One exciting thing that happened today was that it snowed! I woke up this morning to snow outside my window and it was lovely! And so for now things are going really great. God is so good to His beloved children! And on another note, whether by a close personal situation or just a reflection of things happening in the world; the Lord has been really impressing upon my heart the urgency for people to not waste any more precious time apart from truly knowing the One who died for them, Jesus Christ. And if by chance there is someone out there who might come across this little blog and read this entry, I hope you know of the immense and unconditional love Jesus has for you and that He is the propitiation for your sin; once and for all. His blood is the only way to be cleansed from all your sin. The time is now! Let me encourage you through something I read:

"Without the shedding of blood is no remission."—Hebrews 9:22.
HIS is the voice of unalterable truth. In none of the Jewish ceremonies were sins, even typically, removed without blood-shedding. In no case, by no means can sin be pardoned without atonement. It is clear, then, that there is no hope for me out of Christ; for there is no other blood-shedding which is worth a thought as an atonement for sin. Am I, then, believing in Him? Is the blood of His atonement truly applied to my soul? All men are on a level as to their need of Him. If we be never so moral, generous, amiable, or patriotic, the rule will not be altered to make an exception for us. Sin will yield to nothing less potent than the blood of Him whom God hath set forth as a propitiation. What a blessing that there is the one way of pardon! Why should we seek another?
Persons of merely formal religion cannot understand how we can rejoice that all our sins are forgiven us for Christ's sake. Their works, and prayers, and ceremonies, give them very poor comfort; and well may they be uneasy, for they are neglecting the one great salvation, and endeavouring to get remission without blood. My soul, sit down, and behold the justice of God as bound to punish sin; see that punishment all executed upon thy Lord Jesus, and fall down in humble joy, and kiss the dear feet of Him whose blood has made atonement for thee. It is in vain when conscience is aroused to fly to feelings and evidences for comfort: this is a habit which we learned in the Egypt of our legal bondage. The only restorative for a guilty conscience is a sight of Jesus suffering on the cross. "The blood is the life thereof," says the Levitical law, and let us rest assured that it is the life of faith and joy and every other holy grace. -C.H. Spurgeon

"Oh! how sweet to view the flowing
Of my Saviour's precious blood;
With divine assurance knowing
He has made my peace with God."

Colazione!!!!!!!

Me and Michella made frenchy toasties this morning!!! It was muy divertido!!! Later kids.

They neither toil nor spin.

A note of encouragement:
Lately, in this past week or so; I have been reminded gently each day by the Lord to not worry and be not fearful. He has faithfully reminded me everyday that He has not and will not forsake me and that I am to simply abide in Him. How precious is Jesus! I was reading today and was reminded that His ways are better than our ways. I have been praying that the Lord would help me in my unbelief and that I would no longer be hindered by it! Is He not worthy of complete trust? He is. So if you are worried about things remember that the flowers of the field and the birds they are taken well care of. And you, are you not much more worth to Him than the so sparrows? Amen.

In other news! The Pastors Conference is going on right now and it seems to be going very well! We are busy in the kitchen from morning to night! Im so thankful that Micheru is here...we have a good time serving together. And Lids too. Together all of us serving make a really great team, everyone is working hard and having fun. Michella and I are off to kitchen again. haha!!
Love
Mai.

A note to let you all know that I am back in Germany safely! Thank you Jesus! I got to ride the first half of my trip with my best friend which was perfect. We laughed and loved the whole time. God blessed all the time we had together. Life is a beautiful and so exciting when lived for the Lord. I am blessed. Now it is back to work here in Siegen! We are preparing for the Pastor's Conference. Please pray that it goes well and that it is blessed by the Lord. We have enough help which is encouraging so that no one person should feel the burden of all the work upon themselves. Well Im off to do things. I will post a copy of my update next. As always, your patience with me is so appreciated. Thanks for it!
Ci sentiamo
Love and miss you all!

SPARKS AND COLOURS!!!!!!!

Buon Natale e Buon Anno!!
Love to you all!! It is a brand new year and great things are coming just around the corner!! Can you taste it? I can! It is a fresh vision. I promise to post the new update/newsletter very soon and to even put some pictures up! Time is precious friends, don't waste a minute of it! Carpe Diem! I read something so beautiful the other day: 2 Peter 3:9, Psalm 33:11, Isaiah 44. When you have a moment give them a look. You wont be forgotten by Him o Israel!!
Beloved, I wrote a little prayer for you all and myself:
I know that God is good to me and you, Yes He is indeed. His promise is not slack as some would consider it slack, nor can His promise fail you! Oh dear saint, to give up now would only be to walk half way. Half way is not the way of the cross or the Son. So pick up the cross and by the grace of God, go forth. And do not be afraid! Amen.

Got to run now, more soon! Congratulations Andrew and Miriam Rann!! Hurray!!
Love and Prayers,
Chiara Mai.

Ps: Thank you to all of you who prayed for my time this break...God has done EXCEEDINGLY above and beyond. Eph. 3:20+21.
